This will include exhibition:

  • planning (timelines, artists, artworks, media – types)

  • coordination (roles, who will do what)

  • marketing (intro blurb, image, media release, e-bulletin, facebook event, publicity)

  • design (where will the works go in the space, plynths, walls

  • installation (who, when, what do we need, paint plynths, touch up walls)

  • Interpretation (catalogue or labels or both – info panels, artist talk?)

  • sales (list of works, procedure, who will do these at the opening)

  • opening event (opening speaker, food, music, pre-clean –windows/floors, clean up)

  • De-installation (pack up works, sales, clean up gallery)


Participating students, supported by teachers will develop the theme and structure for the group exhibition, select works from their schools, install and coordinate the exhibition.
